Synopsis for "Who's Laughing Now?"

Stanley buys a strange Mask as a gift for his girlfriend, Katherine, but as soon as he leaves the store, he is attacked by a street gang called "The Butchers". When Stanley arrives home, he gives Katherine the mask, much to her delight.

At night, Stanley wakes up to the bathroom and is shocked to find the Mask, sitting in the toilet instead of the shelf where Katherine left it. He grabs the mask and puts it on his face. In that moment, a strange transformation begins and in a matter of seconds, the Mask engulfs Stanley's face before he is completely transformed into the Mask.

After the transformation, The Mask goes to the streets to test if he has powers or special abilities and he finds that indeed, he does. Thus, he decides to use his powers for good and protect the innocents, but first he finds the Butchers and brutalizes them, even killing some of them. At dawn, Katherine wakes up and goes to the bathroom, where she is shocked to see The Mask inside before closing the door. However, after the door opens once again, Stanley comes from inside and tells Katherine to calm down, as there is no "monster". At that same moment, the news broadcast informs about the gruesome crimes by the "masked madman".
